Jaden's Ladder to hold “2nd Annual Jazz Concert by the Sea” featuring world renowned saxophonist Walter Beasley
July 5, 2006 - Jaden's Ladder, a non-profit organization that assists survivors of domestic violence, will hold their “2nd Annual Jazz Concert by the Sea” fundraiser on Saturday, August 5th from 7:00pm-11:00pm at the historic Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in Newcastle, New Hampshire. This event has been generously funded by The Hahn Group - Merrill Lynch Global Private Client, Portsmouth, NH. All proceeds from the event will benefit Jaden's Ladder in their effort to provide post-shelter care and guidance to domestic violence survivors trying to reestablish their lives.
The "2nd Annual Jazz Concert by the Sea” fundraiser will feature live jazz from renowned multi-saxophonist Walter Beasley as well as dinner and dancing. "I am pleased to be participating again this year in the annual Jaden’s Ladder Concert by the Sea. As someone born and raised in the Northeast, I look forward to building on last year’s success and helping to raise funds for this important community-based organization," said Walter Beasley. Guests will also be invited to participate in a live auction that will include items such as two complete sets of men’s & women’s Callaway Golf Clubs, a ten person catered lobster bake and a four person family trip to Orlando, FL with tickets to an Orlando Magic Basketball game with Coach Randy Ayers.
"Building on our second year with Jaden’s Ladder," said Oneta Bobbett, Co-Founder, “I am delighted to report that our families are reaching even greater heights. Most are now attending college or are on their paths to new careers with the help of continuing education and personal development scholarships offered by Jaden’s Ladder. All of these great achievements could not have been reached without the generous support we receive from our local Seacoast Community.”
